Tuscon Leads Hyundai to Best October Ever

November was quite the month for Hyundai Motor America, especially for its redesigned compact crossover utility vehicle, the 2016 Tucson. Last month Tuscon was named "Best Compact Crossover" by Reudas ESPN, the leading Spanish-language automotive radio show in the country. It also earned the impressive title of "International Family Vehicle of the Year" by Road & Travel Magazine.

Overall, the Tuscon sold 6,906 units during the month of November; an increase of 90 percent over November 2014. This helped HMA follow up its best-ever October, with a best-ever November; delivering just over 60 thousand units.

Derrick Hatami, vice president of national sales for Hyundai Motor America, summarized the report this way: “With the combination of a strong economy, lower gas prices and improving crossover inventory, Hyundai experienced a record November. In addition to our Tucson nearly doubling its sales over November 2014, a number of our products experienced double digit sales gains.”

HMA has been on a hot streak, achieving "best-ever" numbers for six-consecutive months.
