640 × 480

Here at Benson Hyundai, we know just how great the 2016 Sonata is, as it looks great, drives like a more expensive car, and delivers excellent fuel economy. Today, that latter quality is confirmed by the folks at the Green Car journal, as they have announce that the 2016 Sonata is on their short list of candidates for their Green Car of the Year award.

The three trim levels that qualified the 2016 Sonata for the award are the Eco, Hybrid, and Plug-In Hybrid. The Eco model gets up to 38 mpg highway, the Hybrid model hits 41 mpg combined, and the Plug-In Hybrid tops them all at 99 mpg-e. It's no wonder the publication loves our thrifty sedan so much.
